The E batches

Note: a batch is 5 of these sodastream bottles. Where the photo shows fewer, it means that some Black Stripe has been taken out of that batch.

Batch E9

The two bottles on the right have hops added, but no other flavour - Morgans Hops - Mosaic.
About 6 hop heads, crushed, per bottle

The other bottles have standard proportions of Ginger, Turmeric (both kinds) and Lime.
Ginger is peeled using a teaspoon.
Turmeric, root, also peeled with a teaspoon; and powdered turmeric, on the red spoon.
Lime is peeled and cut into long wedges so that it goes into the bottle easily.
There is a little less tumeric root than previous batches.

Batch E7

Batch E6

Standard proportions of Ginger, Turmeric (both kinds) and Lime.
Ginger is peeled using a teaspoon.
Turmeric, root, also peeled with a teaspoon; and powdered turmeric, on the red spoon.
Lime is peeled and cut into long wedges so that it goes into the bottle easily.

Batch E5

Added to this batch and previous batches was a section of dried turmeric root, soaked for days to make it usable.
It is as hard as a rock when taken from the packet and needs to be softened up before adding to the secondary fermentation.
